Salvation of the frog 1

Some years before I had a little experience which left me pondering. I was in the compound of my house that day enjoying the cool breeze and ruminating. I suddenly noticed a strange looking creature approaching me. I fixed my gaze on it and saw the appearance of a soil brown creature which had an unusually long green tail hopping towards me. It drew nearer and at this point, I became petrified so I barked out at it. At the blaring of my voice it was revealed. I then realised it was an endangered frog running to me for salvation. It was being chased almost neck and neck by a green snake. At the sound of my voice, the desire of the frog came through as the snake lifted up its head, saw me and retreated. Although the frog didn’t come up to meet me but I could almost hear it say thank you; it was indeed a close call to death for the frog.

On a norm, the frog wouldn’t want to be sighted by me let alone run to me for help; as a matter of fact, it must have initially spotted me but decided to refrain from me, until death came knocking on its door. GOD is indeed great; who could have thought that such a little creature as that would have the intuition that I would deliver it from its enemy, but it surely worked out well. This applies to us in our daily activities, so many leave out the ‘GOD factor’ from their lifestyle and keep doing their business, only to remember HIM when they enter any form of trouble.
I’ve heard a lot of people say things like “don’t put God into this issue” oh how gravely wrong we are. Only God gives the wisdom to elucidate that particular problem. When HIS Word said "…seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you" (Matthew 6:33), It directly means what it says and also means putting GOD first before we do virtually anything. i.e. before you go out seek Him, before, you start that business seek His Advice, before you get into that relationship, seek Him because only He knows the future. Don’t get entangled in trouble before you remember Him. Seek Him Now!

Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the FATHER, but by me. (John 14:6)
