Shine Your Eyes

Shine your eyes "Watch therefore, for you do not know when the master of the house is coming-in the evening, at midnight, at the crowing of the rooster, or in the morning-lest, coming suddenly, he find you sleeping. And what I say to you, I say to all: Watch!" mark 13:35.

To watch in our context doesn't mean we should be spectators. It means to be spiritually active, alert, sharp, on guard, very focused. We must not be ignorant of the devil's devices.

In Romans 13:11 Paul emphasis that we should awake from out sleep and that the time is near.

The closer we draw to the second coming of Christ, the more urgent it is that we awake out of spiritual sleep! The signs are more glaring now than before. If ever there was a time to pay attention and get prepared, it is now!

PRAYER however is as important as watching. Prayer helps watching and vice versa.

Have you ever seen fishermen at work? I watch a documentary about them and found out how rigorous the work could be; casting out their nets, waiting for a while and when the harvest comes: extra effort is required to draw the net into the boat and that’s for the mechanically assisted method how much more when there is no machine to assist. Who is HE

A lady committed a crime and she was sent to court. The punishment for the crime was life imprisonment. She shed tears for help but to no avail. When the case was called in court she started weeping. Her husband, family and friends who accompanied her started weeping but there was no hope. But something happened. Before the lady could stand in the witness box a man stood up and the court room was silent. Everyone looked at Him. He was noble and gentle. He stood in the witness box and interceded on behalf of the woman. The case was difficult, yet He used all His strength, energy and resources to fight on behalf of the woman. After a long legal battle between the man and the accusers, the lady was set free. The lady fell before the man and asked *'WHO ARE YOU'* The next day the lady deliberately committed another crime and was sent to the same court. The Unprecedented

When something is unprecedented, it is extraordinary and stands out due to its novelty and lack of prior occurrence . It is often used in contexts where there is a significant departure from the norm or an event of exceptional magnitude. It has been scientifically proven with clear and resonating evidence; the story of the flood that covered the earth’s surface. With distinct details recorded in the Bible, we’re told that God spoke to a man named Noah. Haven found him righteous, HE required him to build an Ark informing him that rain would fall and cause the earth to be flooded. The news of rain falling was very unprecedented since there had never been rain on earth in those days (Genesis 2:5-6) . God didn’t inform Noah of the time/season when the rain would come.
