I’ve heard of Some false doctrine whose teachings says things like ‘once you’ve received JESUS CHRIST into your life, you’re saved forever’ irrespective of whether you go back into sin; well if it were so, why would the Word of GOD say “...work out your own salvation with fear and trembling”( Philippians 2:12), why would GOD admonish us and say “Sanctify yourselves therefore, and be ye holy: for I am the LORD your God.”(Leviticus 20:7).
Probably you feel you’ve gone too far in sin and you feel that all what you’ve done isn’t pardonable,... well, i have good news for you; my DADDY says that “Verily I say unto you, All sins shall be forgiven unto the sons of men, and blasphemies wherewith soever they shall blaspheme:”(Mark 3:28). It doesn’t matter whatever grave things you’ve done, HE calls back for you now. Will you yield to HIM?
Our GOD is a Very Jealous GOD, HE created us to be for HIM, Worship HIM and abide in HIM; but since the fall of man in the beginning, that relationship has been breached “For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;”(Romans 3:23). Still, GOD is always wanting to restore HIS relationship with HIS human creation as it was in the beginning that’s why He sent HIS only Begotten SON to restore that relationship "Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends".(John 15:13). There are millions of people trooping into hell,… but GOD doesn’t want you to be among them that’s why “The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance”.(2Peter 3:9)
It isn’t by our works that we are saved; Your works can't save you; rather it is by GOD’S Grace that we have salvation and It is very much FREE. GOD wants you to be HIS Child and nothing less. HE is ready to make You free and fill you with HIS Spirit so that you may be bold and know that you are now his child “For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God. For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father.”(Romans 8:14&15). Forget about your past,… forget about Your backslidden state; HE wants YOU irrespective of whatever state you are, HE wants to make your life beautiful, all you need to do is to BELIEVE HE can save You, ACCEPT HIS Call by surrendering (or re-dedicating) your life to JESUS CHRIST, REPENT and FORSAKE your old sinful ways. “Again, when I say unto the wicked, Thou shalt surely die; if he turn from his sin, and do that which is lawful and right; If the wicked restore the pledge, give again that he had robbed, walk in the statutes of life, without committing iniquity; he shall surely live, he shall not die. None of his sins that he hath committed shall be mentioned unto him: he hath done that which is lawful and right; he shall surely live.”(Ezekiel 33:14-16)
NOTE: Your works (self righteousness) cant save You; You’ve just got to believe HE’s able to save you to the uttermost end. Listen to HIM when HE speaks to “But ye believe not, because ye are not of my sheep, as I said unto you. My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me”(John 10:26&27) and obey HIM.
“…but LOVE covereth all sins”(Proverbs 10:12b) P.S GOD is LOVE,…HE is waiting, RETURN to HIM NOW!
