Red Alert


 What does it mean to flee?

It means to aggressively run away, with an exponentially increased intensity in running!

Let me illustrate to you what it means to flee fornication…abstain from all appearances of evil.

Do you remember the “ebola scare” a few years ago, well I was in one of the “high possibility zones” so I can tell you about it. PH was on red alert during those periods, and people took serious extra measures…handshakes became sacred, and people instead invented newer methods of greetings, like raising both hands to give respect (very similar to the Agbero’s “twale”), Hand Sanitizers became common place, a highly sought-after commodity...people avoided body contact with others (as everybody was a suspect even when looking normal)…you need to see people hugging their bodies tight in busses, avoiding body contact with others…but tell me, how can you avoid contact with the sweaty bodies of others in a packed bus on a sunny afternoon… and of course you remember the salt issue…it didn’t have to be rational, once it looked like something to save from the menace, people tried it anyways!

That’s how to flee…

I remember a lecturer telling us then how he caused a major scare in a bank. He went to the bank and the security guard was trying to do something to him (take his temperature) with this device he wasn’t familiar with, so he refused to remain steady, rather continuing his advance towards the bank door, the security guard was alarmed and was trying to prevent him from entering the bank, while at the same time trying to keep his own distance from him. He caused a scene and attracted the attention of those outside and others within the bank. As he (my lecturer) made another move to go ahead into the bank, suddenly all those within the bank that were close to the door fled for their dear lives…

That’s how to flee…

So when God’s word says flee fornication…abstain from all appearances of evil…it’s a much more serious issue…deadly viruses are flying around, on the streets, on the internet, on T.V, in schools, at work, sometimes even in church…almost everywhere…what do you do? Don’t wait to confirm what type it is, once it looks like evil…FLEE! Be irrational with it…Yes…exaggerate the gravity of the issue and escape for your dear life! Today, you don’t have to buy a “blue film” to view pornography, it has rather been cut to bits and scattered around T.V shows, movies and cyberspace, so what do you do? flee…Flee…FLEE!!! FLEE Fornication and all appearances of evil…(1 Corinthians 6:18, 1 Thessalonians 5:22) choose rather to be irrational, lose friends, acquaintances, pleasures than be infected with this deadly virus…

He who hath an ear, let him hear...

A word is enough for…Well, you know.

Who is HE

A lady committed a crime and she was sent to court. The punishment for the crime was life imprisonment. She shed tears for help but to no avail. When the case was called in court she started weeping. Her husband, family and friends who accompanied her started weeping but there was no hope. But something happened. The Unprecedented

When something is unprecedented, it is extraordinary and stands out due to its novelty and lack of prior occurrence . It is often used in contexts where there is a significant departure from the norm or an event of exceptional magnitude. It has been scientifically proven with clear and resonating evidence; the story of the flood that covered the earth’s surface. With distinct details recorded in the Bible, we’re told that God spoke to a man named Noah.
