Don't break your wings

I came back home on Monday really tired and fagged out and as I lay on the bed to rest, I noticed a small tan winged ant walking on the bed near me. I sure felt it was trespassing as it was in the wrong place, but I didn’t want to kill it. I decided to carefully pick it up by its wings and take it all the way outside, but as it was trying to pick up its pace, I got hold of only one wing. That’s fair enough as I still had it under my subtle but firm grip. It then started to resist and kept on turning around, and at that rate I had a feeling that its wing was going to cut off, I then exclaimed aloud “you’ll just cut your wings...” I was taking it to a better place where it could fly,... I wasn’t going to kill it, all I needed it to do was to be patient with me till I get to where I would release it.
The LORD boomed in my spirit and I got the message. Many of us behave like this to GOD,... all HE wants from us is to be patient with HIM. HE knows where is best for us and HE wants to take us there that we may fly, but we keep resisting thinking where we are is the best for us. The fact that others succeed in a field doesn’t mean that field is meant for us also; that’s why when something bad happens to us, we at most times tend to feel dejected, countenance fallen... Don’t break your wings, just wait on HIM. For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry (Habakkuk 2:3), trust HIM for HE is Perfect.
So I say unto you Wait on the LORD: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the LORD (Psalm 27:14), because HE needs You to fly where HE’s taking You to. Note that only …they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.(Isaiah 40:31)
Guess what? Your little one shall become a thousand, and a small one a strong nation: I the LORD will hasten it in his time. (Isaiah 60:22)
