HOOKE'S LAW (PART1)


During a particular Bible study, I heard the words "Hooke's Law" within me, I knew that there was something rich to glean here...

Hooke's Law is a law in Physics which states that
"Provided the Elastic limit is not exceeded, the strain (extension) on an elastic material is directly proportional to the Stress producing it.
An implication of this law is that an elastic material will return to its initial state after being stressed as long as it wasn't stressed beyond it's elastic limit.


That's the state of many Christians- continually going back to their previous state...they call it- rising and falling. But is this the will and desire of God for His children? It definitely isn't as God isn't pleased with drawing back (Hebrews 10:38), hence the need for the believer to pull beyond the Elastic limit!

According to Hooke, there are 3 major points in the 'life' of a stretching elastic material:
- The Elastic limit, within which the material will return to it's initial state after every pull.
- The Yield Point (starting plastic region), above which the material will exhibit more stretch by so little effort. At this point the material cannot return to it's initial state ever again.
- The Breaking Point, at which the material finally detaches from it's other part.

Read with understanding...
God wills for His children to get away from their initial state, pull away from the world towards Him. Pull away from the desires and passions of the flesh towards Him. This should not be a weak temporary pull that will still leave one within the Elastic limit, but God desires that (we, you) I make a desperate Pull that will take me beyond the Yield Point, into total submission to Him. A point where we answer Here I Am to His littlest whisper and we never go back until the very day He calls us to glory- The Breaking Point.
That's the call today!

Who is HE

A lady committed a crime and she was sent to court. The punishment for the crime was life imprisonment. She shed tears for help but to no avail. When the case was called in court she started weeping. Her husband, family and friends who accompanied her started weeping but there was no hope. But something happened. The Unprecedented

When something is unprecedented, it is extraordinary and stands out due to its novelty and lack of prior occurrence . It is often used in contexts where there is a significant departure from the norm or an event of exceptional magnitude. It has been scientifically proven with clear and resonating evidence; the story of the flood that covered the earth’s surface. With distinct details recorded in the Bible, we’re told that God spoke to a man named Noah.
